‘GAZE’ SURGERY

What is gaze surgery?

It consists of operating the eyelids but in close association with the surrounding eyelid area.

What happens when there is excess or sagging upper eyelid skin?

This usually occurs because the eyebrow has drooped, when excess sagging skin from the lower eyelid is prominent because the cheek has drooped. I talk about ‘gaze’ surgery because it is a surgery in which we combine eyelid surgery with a forehead lift and a cheek lift; if I lift the forehead that has drooped and the cheek that has drooped, I definitely achieve much more natural results.
