NON-SURGICAL FACIAL REJUVENATION

Botox

BOTOX is currently the most performed non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedure in the world. It consists of the application of micro-injections of Botulinum Toxin type A, a protein that temporarily relaxes the muscles, attenuating wrinkles or expression lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows, perioculars and others.

It is an outpatient procedure, quick and painless and its effect lasts approximately 6 months.

Hyaluronic acid

HYALURONIC ACID is a bio-polysaccharide that is part of the structure of some tissues in the body such as: cartilage, collagen connective tissue, vitreous humor and synovial fluid.

It has the property of retaining large amounts of water and stimulating the synthesis of the structural fibers of the dermis such as collagen and elastin; This is why it is useful in aesthetic filler and hydration treatments and volume increase through infiltrations.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP)

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) is obtained from a patient’s blood sample in a specialized clinical laboratory. The blood is centrifuged to separate its components: blood cells and serum or plasma that contains a high concentration of platelets. The function of platelets in the body, when there are wounds, is to clot blood and repair damaged tissues.

Due to this ability of platelets to regenerate tissues, their applicability was found in Aesthetic Medicine since they secrete growth factors that stimulate cell division and collagen production by the fibroblasts of the dermis.

The recommendation is to do 3 sessions per year, one or two months apart and repeat this routine every year.

I invite you to watch this video that explains the step-by-step procedure and properties of the Dermatic 3 (Pneumatic Gun), a state-of-the-art device used for the application of PRP with important advantages compared to application with a conventional syringe.

PlexR® Plasma

PPlexR® PLASMA – Advanced technology in Facial Aesthetic Medicine.

It is an electro-medical device with two technical parameters of Voltage and Frequency that have been studied and calibrated to achieve a non-invasive ‘superficial’ effect. Unlike the Laser, it is possible to treat the dermal and epidermal areas without transferring heat to deeper layers or surrounding tissues.

This type of energy called ‘Plasma’ produces sublimation of the tissue where it is applied, causing a controlled, superficial injury the size of the head of a pin. The induced injury causes immediate skin retraction. In the following hours, a scab forms on each spot that lasts between 5 and 7 days.

It has a wide range of medical and aesthetic indications, but my consultation is focused on:

Facial rejuvenation. Periorbital rejuvenation (non-surgical blepharoplasty). Perioral rejuvenation (barcode). Treatment of scarring acne and keloid scars. Treatment of moles and other benign lesions.
